First project for my new blog!!!

Thanks for stopping by...:)

I decided to start a blog separate from the company blog . I like the idea of being able to link and participate in all the challenges when I can and not interfere with the day to day business aspect of a company blog. Awh... makes me feel like a real design team member ha ha.

For my first project, I decided to try out a quilt block, top note card. It was simpler to do than I thought. I got the idea from my old upline when I was a *gasp* Stampin Up! demo lol. How cute is that card. Here is my version:

And a close-up of the blocking:

It was so simple to make it's not even funny. Simply cut a piece of white cardstock 5 x 3 3/4. Cut your patterned paper you will be using in 1 1/4 squares. Adhere them to the white cardstock in the order you'd like and run it through your big shot. It's that easy.

I was addicted and made a ton of them. Great way to get rid of your scraps too. For this one I decided to turn it into a thank you card. The thank you is a rubon. I have a lot to be thankful for. I then added a crystal and some ribbon. The white circle with the sentiment on it has been chalked around the edge.

I will be having some blog candy on Friday!!! :) Make sure you stop back by.

  5. Love your blog design. That card is cute, I don't have the top note die but it should work with the Nesties Label 1, I will have to give it a try. TFS!

  6. Great job on the blog!
What a cute card! This is such a good idea for using up scraps. Change the colors, and it would make a great holiday card that would be easy to mass-produce. TFS!
